Fondation

The Orchestre de Jeux Vidéo was founded in 2008 by Catherine Caplette-Bérubé, Jocelyn Leblanc and Sébastien Wall-Lacelle. As the name suggests, the OJV has dedicated itself to playing the music of video game soundtracks. This unique concept not only allows it to offer a first class musical environment to its musicians, but also to make orchestral music - a relatively closed environment - accessible to all.

Evolution

Since its inception, the OJV has seen its popularity increase at a blistering pace, accumulating success after success. During these last years, the OJV has performed at the Maison Symphonique de Montréal, the G-Anime festival in Gatineau, and the Palais des Congrès de Montréal as part of the Otakuthon Festival, all the while holding its own concerts before thousands of its fans every year.
